Vermont Maple Open House Weekend is just around the corner and you know what that means! It’s time for Citizen Cider’s Maple Fest!
Come celebrate Spring with Citizen Cider and friends on March 21st 10am-1pm at our Flynn Ave Press House! The Burlington Firefighters’ Association will be serving up a $5 pancake breakfast with McKenzie maple ham and Runamok maple syrup! All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Burlington Firefighters’ Association! #beagoodcitizen
Nomad Coffee will be running their mobile espresso bar as well as offering a selection of single origin drip coffees
There will be live music from our friends GoldenOak
“GoldenOak is driven by the songwriting and harmonies of the brother-sister duo Zak and Lena Kendall.” The Portland Maine based group rocked it at our Cider Fest last October and we can’t wait to hang out with them at Maple Fest!
What’s a party without cheese samples from Vermont Farmstead? In Vermont cheese is considered breakfast, lunch or dinner, right?
“Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company (VFCC) gently cares for our land and the lives of our animals to make fresh, quality, and artisan cheese available to all. Through a marriage of authentic cheesemaking practices and innovative and playful partnerships within our community, we are creating a new generation of award winning artisanal cheeses. “
And of course we will have tons of delicious cider and cocktails available all day! Our Tree Tapper cider is a must have for Maple Fest. This fan favorite is made with Runamok Maple Syrup, red wine yeast, aged on untoasted oak and infused with dark Belgian candi syrup.
The perfect pair for a pancake breakfast during VT Maple Open House Weekend! See you there! #getexcidered
