That’s right Tulsi is now available in 16oz cans.
So, What is Tulsi?
Tulsi, more commonly known as Holy Basil, is an aromatic perennial plant that is similar in both flavor and scent to basil. One of the most sacred plants in India and considered “The Queen of the Herbs,” Tulsi is said to support a healthy response to stress and to help restore balance and harmony. The Hindus consider Tulsi a very important medicinal plant that can help spiritually repair both body and mind.
Our good friend Jeff, of Hallow Herbs Farm welcomes us to his farm in burlington, vt every summer as he gets ready to harvest his Tulsi for us.
Regional cider, regional herbs. In our quest to find all that the Northeast is capable of growing, we uncovered the ancient herb, Tulsi. Most commonly known as holy basil this aromatic perennial is used in teas, oils, elixirs, so why not cider? We steep the freshly picked tulsi leaves and flowers in our off-dry cider blend. Bringing together two regional ingredients in one local cider. Celebrate regionality, enjoy Tulsi.
Stop by our tasting room this Saturday for our Tulsi can release! Tulsi is currently on draft at our Pine st. Tasting Room, but our new 16oz cans will be for sale starting at 12pm on 9/14/19.
